BLTouch probe communication prior to homing

  • Hi, I've recently built a 3d printer similar to that of a larger Ultimaker, I've had a few instances where the cables of the touch probe came out, so it lost power or a signal to the Duet, and therefore when homing did not stop moving as a signal was not transmitted to the duet, which caused the bed to crash into my nozzle. I was just wondering if there was a line of code or way that would allow a communication with the probe to occur when homing, and when there was no communication the Duet would throw up an error?
    Thanks

No. It's pretty open loop. It assumes the probe is connected and working as it should be and just executes the commands you give it.
