BLTouch probe communication prior to homing
-
Hi, I've recently built a 3d printer similar to that of a larger Ultimaker, I've had a few instances where the cables of the touch probe came out, so it lost power or a signal to the Duet, and therefore when homing did not stop moving as a signal was not transmitted to the duet, which caused the bed to crash into my nozzle. I was just wondering if there was a line of code or way that would allow a communication with the probe to occur when homing, and when there was no communication the Duet would throw up an error?
Thanks -
No. It's pretty open loop. It assumes the probe is connected and working as it should be and just executes the commands you give it.
