Fan0 blows faster than Fan2 at 100%?...Same fan!
-
Hi,
I have just installed 2 fans to cool PLA filament on a HeroMe Gen3 on my Ender 5 Pro. I have used the existing wires for Fan0 for one of the fans and wired the other to Fan2 on the Duet 2 Maestro Board.
My probelm is when I go to test the Fan 2, it runs much slower than Fan0 when I put it 100%. They are the same fan, both 24V. I do not know what the Hz is, but I set it to 20.
Here is the fans.
(BTW, I setup the tool to make Fan2 run with Fan0 when printing.
Anyone know why Fan2 is running so slow?

Here is my settings for my fans in config.g file, btw:
; Fans
M106 P0 S0 I0 F20 H-1 ; set fan 0 value, PWM signal inversion and frequency. Thermostatic control is turned off
M106 P1 S0 I0 F20 H1 T45 ; set fan 1 value, PWM signal inversion and frequency. Thermostatic control is turned on
M106 P2 S0 I0 F20 H-1 ; set fan 2 value, PWM signal inversion and frequency. Thermostatic control is turned off; Tools
M563 P0 D0 F0:2 ; define tool 0
G10 P0 X0 Y0 Z0 ; set tool 0 axis offsets
G10 P0 R0 S0 ; set initial tool 0 active and standby temperatures to 0C -
If you switch them on the board, does the problem follow the fan or is it consistent to the fan2 header, if its consistent to the header, test for current going to the fan, if its not drawing as much current as fan0, then you couldve blown something. I may or may not have done the same thing recently

...Just figured it out. The Jumper was set to 5V not VIN....
