@tobias_munich Did the heater actually go into fault state?

Does the virtual SD card in the Pi have the same M307 heater parameters in config.g or config-override.g as on the SD card you use when running in standalone mode?

@dc42 said in RRF 3.01-RC8, DWC 2.1.3 and DSF 2.0.0: Heater Fault:

I know you're all super busy, and this is likely only an issue for a minority of the users, but I think it could be resolved and also eliminate the negative experiences some have tied to the confusion.

@bearer said in Firmware update woes. Duet3:

                  there isn't much difference afaik.
💡 heck if you add M552 S1 and put config.g in /boot/sys/config.g and symlink it to /opt/dsf/sd/sys/config.g it should (could?) work in both the pi and the Duet3 with no furhter changes but maybe not poke the bear if its working
(and you'd need to put all the other files and dwc into /boot/www etc)

With a few more symlinks and some consideration I'm sure the same card could be used.

@dc42 seems my problem was the config-override.g. My parameters out of the config-override where not loaded.
