      Hi all,

I'm trying to do a PID tune on heater 1 (hotend). This has worked before, but it seems to fail for no apparent reason now.
Any ideas would be appreciated 🙂

I can work with the printer by the way, I'm simply using the old values (as nothing has changed other than the default fan speed).

One thing I can think of is some noise coming in from the Pt100 wiring (still need to shield that). Could that cause the autotune to fail? It's roughly +/- 2 degrees (haven't put a scope on the input of the daughterboard yet, but I could try that.)

Which Duet and if Duet3 are you running in standalone mode or with an SBC?
Which previous version did it work at ? If you go back to that version does it work again?

Hi, sorry about that, should have mentioned that. It's a Duet 2 Wifi, last time it worked was RC8. (I didn't test it with the RCs in between.)

I just did two more tests, once to 100C and once to 150C.
The 100C one failed as well, but fairly early. I noticed the label "tuning" changing to "off". No message appeared in the console or as a popup. After an M303 I saw that it failed.

The 150C one went through all the phases and was succesful.

I'm currently trying to tune to 215 again, after a reset of the board.

It worked now, but for some reason I never saw phase 3 with the peak temperature:

Wifi signal strength shows -65dB... It does not disconnect, but could it be I'm simply missing messages because of a poor signal?
