      Hello guys,

      I installed a laser filament sensor V2.0.

      Duet 3 6HC

Wired with 3 wires, 3.3v, gnd and to the IN on IO5. Metered directly at the connector on the sensor, I get 3.3V properly.

      This is in my config.g:

      M591 D0 P5 C"io5.in" R40:120 E3 S0 A0

The how to on the site says that there should be LEDs coming on. I have nothing at all.

      M591 D0 reports:

Duet3D laser filament monitor v1 on pin io5.in, disabled, allow 40% to 120%, check every 3.0mm, no data received

Should I plug it somewhere else?

Railcore II 300ZL with lots of upgrades (Duet 3 6HC)
Heavily modified Ender 3 Pro (Duet 3 6HC)
Heavily modified Tronxy X5SA-500 Pro with Chimera+ and dual bondtech (Duet 3 6HC)
      CR-10S Pro V2 (Duet 3 Mini 5+)
and a bunch of SLA printers..

Check your wiring? When you say you checked at the connector on the sensor, did you also check at the end of the wiring run?

Yes, sorry, that's what I meant. I plugged it in and checked at the board side as well as on the sensor itself.

Should the LEDs turn on as soon as power is applied?

It would seem that way, yes.

What firmware version are you running?

Might also want to try a different pin.

I'm an idiot. I had a wire that was cut (gnd).

                  Now getting this:

                  Duet3D laser filament monitor v2 on pin io5.in, disabled, allow 40% to 120%, check every 3.0mm, version 2, quality 221, brightness 24, shutter 136, measured min 90% avg 98% max 101% over 3457.5mm

Is that normal for Yellow AMZ3D PLA 1.75mm?

                  Thanks!! Sorry for the trouble!
