      Hello All,
I am in the middle of converting a 1m x 1m x 1m large Chinese 3d Printer to have more flexibility in future upgrade in hardware and firmware. My current plan is to convert the Chitu board it currently has over to a Duet2 Wifi with a breakout board to control the stepper drivers. I am not super familiar with wiring up and creating firmware for such a large printer with odd Chinese parts. Any help with how to do this and what I should do would be great! Here is a wiring diagram of the original machine that I drew. it is incredibly complex. I'd Like to keep as much of the existing hardware as possible.Screen Shot 2020-05-04 at 11.21.46 AM.png I will also attach a PDF with each components wiring separate for ease of looking at. Duet 2 is the right choice, it brings pins out for external drivers. Looks like there are 5 drivers, plus some other stuff for the heated bed and the endstops.

Assuming that diagram is reasonably accurate, you should be able to keep just about everything while replacing the controller board. The only question is the button panel. The ones for emergency, and lighting, that do not go through the controller, those should work. There are a couple that perform actions, and those will be easy to set up. I'd be very surprised if the touchscreen ever works with a duet. You might even want to remove it or tape over it.
