How do i clear the printing messages after a printing short of clearing 100 print messages after every print???? ... ONE AT A TIME ... a real pain ...

100 print messages
i would guess the best option is to ask the slicer to stop generating them at each layer?
-
So thats where thre generated from the slicer
Ill look see wahat i can find... thanks -
well, its a best-guess(tm) as we have no idea what message you're referring to.
the common "problem" is print progress messages on every layer change from the slicer, intended to be printed on a lcd display. where to disable would be slicer dependant.

No boxes were checked.
I believe the slicer program is not responsible
Might it have somthing to do with having to reinstale my www. File ??
I was also wondering what the save cache option under tje general tab does what does it save ?? And where ??Running dwc 3.1.0
Firmware Ver ...1.21 -
it might help to say what the message says..
-
Ptinting 1% printing 2% and so on the slicer setings are off
-
Are you really running DWC 3.1.0 on firmware 1.21?
-
Like you said do i need to look in slicer start.code
-
Lol.... yup.
-
If you open the gcode file and search for M117 do you find any?
-
Thats why i posted it
-
Have looked in config .g and no but have to run for an hour or two. Will come back to it. Thanks well nb ahve to talk about updating firmware
-
No I mean look in the gcode file you are printing.
-
Yes M117 printing - by % a total of 100 entery per print
i assume the terminal in the slicer is what your refering to ?? ( mater control) Also need to teach my self the process of updating firmware -

this is generated by the slicer if you find it in the g-code.
-
Ok i believe you just, trying to inderstand what controls the entry...so there has to be a setting in the slicer that i can uncheck and that should cancel the printing messages?? That would be my next question..I know curra has a window where the start gcode is set monitored im makibg an assumption when when I say the terminal is where i see the M117. (In the slicer -matercontrol) Im wondering if im looking in the right spot in the slicer?? It doesnt seem to have the same start code window or pull donw that currra has .the terminal seems to display the ongoing code as it runs
-
maybe look for something like layer change? and custom gcode not familiar with mattercontrol
-
Prob just call them monday. You guys are great.
Have learned tons. About time to start with another slicer i think any sugestions
Thanks
