Geeetech A30T

  • Hello everyone,

I've a geeetech A30T that is not running as it should with the original motherboard and I bought a duet2 wifi board for it. As the firmware is not open source I was thinking this would be better if I used my own. As I'm new to this I wanted to know how to start this project.
I've 3 extruders on this printer with a 3 to 1 hotend, 3 filament run out sensors, dual Z axis, two optical z switch and standard X and Y stop. for the bed levelling a captive proximity sensor.

I've also a zonestar Z9M3 with same configuration if this project comes to a good end.
    This one has also a 3 to 1 hotend, 3 to 2 hotend and a 3 tot 3 hotend.

I've started to read the guidelines but I'm a little bit confused.

    Thanks for your help.

The first step would be to get the basic X and Y movement working, then the heaters and a single extruder, building it up slowly as you go.

You can use the web configurator to get a basic starting config, then you can manually add the additional axis and features from there.

It may be a good idea to poke around the documentation for a bit and get a feel for what's possible.

And come back here to the forum when you have a specific question.
