Most likely the nozzle hit a blob and the Y axis skipped steps. Here are some things that may help:
- Increase Y motor current, if it isn't already close to the rated motor current
- Reduce Y travel speed
- Reduce acceleration

As David said. The other possibility, if you are printing on a glass clipped to the bed, is that the glass shifted when the nozzle hit the blob. I used to get that with my old Mendel.
