      Good evening,

I can't imagine, how the BMG-X2 is working with the Duet-combination mentioned above... The are 2 nozzles with a defined distanstance. How can I tell the firmware, that there are 2 extruders? And how looks a gcode for that case? The slicer software must also support the BMG-X2... Is there somebody out there with a similar combination?

      Thanks, Pierre

@medicusdkfz RepRapFirmware on Duet electronics can support as many tools as you can connect to the board, and has done since it's inception. If you have a 6HC and 3HC, you have 9 stepper motor connections, and at least 6 extruder heater connections (I think), so connecting a BMG-X2 is no problem, and can probably be done just using the 6HC. You define the heaters, temperature sensors and extruders for each tool, and the offsets, in the configuration file. You can also define actions that happen on tool changes in macros. Slicers have supported multiple tools for a long time, too.

The web configurator lets you define the extruder motors and heaters and then assign them to tools and edit the offsets.

            Here's what I got:
