      I wasn't sure where to put this.. I just realized that the Duet 3 / RPi powered toolboard on a new machine we are building was not updated by running:

      • sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade

      It was only updated after uploading the firmware through DWC. Is this a known issue, expected behavior, or did I do something wrong?

      Thanks

          If the correct version of the tool board firmware binary is already in /sys then you can use M997 B# to update the tool board, where # is the CAN address of the tool board.
