Beware of too high PWM frequency on OUT 0
-
Hi,
I'm using PWM 50% for my bed (Felixprinter, rated as 12V, used with 19V). As my bed acts as a loudspeaker I tried to use a higher PWM frequency of 15kHz to reduce the noise (bed no more audible). But this was no good, because the switching transistor heated up to 150°C! So to avoid damage to the board it would be good to prevent in Software to go so high in frequency.

I thought we already had a limit of 1kHz for heaters. Perhaps this is no longer working, so I will check. Thanks for raising this.

I confirm, that check has been lost when changes were made for RRF3. I have reinstated it in the forthcoming 3.2beta1 version.
