Errors when pressing STOP button panel PanelDue
-
I've notixed when I use the STOP button on the panel due I get error messages appear saying "ERROR: Bad command : ###".
The strange thing is that each time it's a different number.
No such messages appear on DWC when using the emergency stop or sending M999.Board: Duet 2 WiFi (2WiFi)
Firmware: RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet 3.2-beta2 (2020-10-05b2)
Duet WiFi Server Version: 1.23
Duet Web Control 3.2.0-beta1+2
PanelDue Firmware 3.2-RC3+1 -
think zapta(?) has reported this as a bug already; it appears to be the (valid) checksum of the stop command somehow being parsed as a separate command which results in the error message.

and lots of details in this thread https://forum.duet3d.com/post/169937
edit:
The strange thing is that each time it's a different number.
thats because the stop command have line increasing line numbers so the checksum changes for each time.

@bearer
Thanks. I've either missed that or killed too many brain cells in the interim. -
no worries; at least you answered the question "does someone get a notification if you mention them in an edit?"
yes, yes they do:)
