Error: Bad Command:
-
Hello everyone, I'm Renan, from Brazil.
I have been testing with a Duet 2 Wifi 1.04c (RRF 2.05.1) and within a few days it has been behaving strangely during printing, like going to a random corner and following printing, among other crazy things.
I tried to clean some files (even if I didn't know if it was, because I had made a backup) like config.json, config.g.bak, config-override, dwc2settings. I analyzed the slicer (Cura Ultimaker, which on other printers has no problems) and added M400 in the initial Gcode to see if it cleaned anything, it didn't solve ...
The messages that appear on the console are of the following type:
Error: Bad command: Gq X123.958 Y65.216 E0.02358Can someone help me? thank you.

config.json, config.g.bak, config-override, dwc2settings.
Those files are normal.

Error: Bad command: Gq X123.958 Y65.216 E0.02358Gq looks like you have either a corrupted upload or the SD card is failing.
What version of DWC do you have on there? With 2.05.1 firmware you should be using DWC 2.0.7.
First thing to try would be to upload the complete firmware again to make sure everything is up to date.
https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/download/2.05.1/Duet2Firmware-2.05.1.zip
Upload that zip file to the system tab in DWC. Do not extract it. Upload the full file as is.
If after that you are still having issues, try replacing the SD card. You can copy your current SD card contents over, but I would reslice any gcode files since the ones on the card may be corrupt.
You can find some ways to test your card here:

@Phaedrux Ok, I will make the attempts and come back to inform if I was successful or not. For now, thank you!

Update:
Since I had to reinstall the firmware, updated RRF 2.05.1 to 3.1.1, the problem persisted. So, during one of the errors I read something about an SD card error, now I don't remember it anymore, so I used the original SD that came with the Duet 2 Wifi and the problem didn't occur anymore. I will soon try to format the card as previously indicated.Anyway, I believe it was a problem with the SD card, thanks.
