I use the Duet until today. 5 minutes ago before this port always was working, but I have do a emergency reset (like many others times) and now the blue led of the wifi don't light.
With the USB, I can communicate with the board, but the wifi module remains disconnected :

Try sending M997 S1 to reflash the wifi module.

I have tried. How long does it take ?
I wait one minute before disconnect the usb cable and reconnect.
No change the WiFi is always disabled.
What is the operating temperature of the board ?
Mine has 45 degree ambiant and I have sometime overheat message of tmc

if you're using the usb serial console it should show you the progress, something like

Trying to connect at 230400 baud:

overheat message would indicate your drivers are reaching the 100C threshold set for the alarm afaik, you should probably consider some cooling. (45C ambient will reduce the the MTBF for any electronics, but it might still be beyond the usable lifespan for a given product)

Try a swap of ESP between a duet with working wifi and dead sd slot

the first bit "trying to connect" should come from the duet afaik, i can see if I can test it on a duet 2 ethernet (without the ethernet module) later or tomorrow if your surgery doesn't bear fruits.

                        sucess with the swap !!!!
now buy a sd slot and a ESP12S for repair the second board
need just to find the reference of ESP and sd slot card

the sd slot is Würth Elektronik 693071020811, I could put an another suplier ?
The ESP reference is just ESP12 ?

                          ESP12S

you can use pretty much any ESP module with the same footprint, i.e. ESP12F and ESP12E, or ESP07 all work, but there differences in the certifications like ce/ul/fcc that matter for businesses.

You can use any SD card slot with the same footprint, but the Würth was chosen for superior quality, I opted for cheap chinesium* https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32972228521.html

(ed: * because ordering 1 of the Würth + shipping is crazy, however I will add a proper one next time I have to order from digikey anyway)
