      Good morning,

After I have referenced all my axes, adjusted the gantry and brought the bed to print temperature before a 3D print, I always run a G30 S-3 command before a mesh bed levelling (36 points) in the center of the bed. Do I need to include the X and Y coordinates in the G30 command here or does it take the reference point for the inductive sensor it is currently standing on? I use the new SuperPinda as sensor, which is temperature stable.

      Best Christmas greetings,
      Pierre

Hi and thank you very much for your answer,

I have a Voron 2.4 with a Z-microswitch and the SuperPinda. After referencing and gantry levelling, I don't need the homing with the Z-microswitch in further steps. Is it right, that I than only use my SuperPinda?

          Thank you,
          Pierre

If you have a Z probe then you can use that for Z homing if you wish, and then you don't need the Z microswitch at all. See https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/ConfiguringRepRapFirmwareCartesianPrinter#Section_Homing_Z.
