      Hi,

I started this odyssey with the boards factory firmware of 3.0beta12.

After a good deal of frustration with finding the correct files, renaming files, CRC upload errors I finally got updated to 3.0.

But I have had no luck getting it to update to anything later. I've tried 3.1.1 and 3.2.

I tried the "combined" ZIP files but there are CRC errors.

During separate attempts I tried the BIN files for both 3.1.1 and 3.2 which uploaded fine, seemed to update fine (using M997 S0 over USB) but there is no change in the version reported with M112.

I am having SO much fun.

So what's the trick? What am I doing wrong?

      Thanks.

      Frederick

Add the IAP files listed there and try uploading the 3.0 zip file again, followed by the 3.2 zip file. That should do it.

The BIN files uploaded without issue.

The ZIP file gave an error about a Maestro file but I tried M997 just same.

I now have firmware 3.2 😉 which leads to my next question.

          DWC is reported as 2.0.4.

I was under the impression that DWC version was supposed to stay in sync with the firmware version.

If so what do I do to update DWC.

          Thanks.

well you've got 2 options I think. Either upload the 3 zip files in a row starting with 2.05 and then 3.0 and 3.2 again, or pull the SD card and replace the /www folder with the DWC files from 3.2.

I updated the SD card directly and all is now good.

I hope future updates go a bit smoother.

              Thanks much.
