TronXY X5SA Pro Help
-
TronXY X5SA Pro completely gutted the old electronics. This is a CoreXY printer.
MB: Duet 2 Wifi running 3.2.0 firmware
TFT: PanelDue 7"
I need configuration help with a few items.- I want to use an Z-limit switch and BL touch. I want the switch to stop 1 side of the build plate while the z-probe will be used for ABL.
- I want to use the E1 or E0 drive as a 2nd Z drive for the 2nd Z motor.
- I want to use a BTT Smart Filament Runout sensor.
I have seen some examples but they are really difficult to follow for some reason. Can someone help me figure out how to configure these items? I already have them wired according to examples. I have attached my config.g file. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help you help me. I greatly appreciate any help here I can get.config.g

can you explain what the advantage of that is above just using the abl?

@Veltar82 You'll need to use the BLTouch to home Z if you want the the results for ABL to be used properly.

@Veti Thank you for the links.
Dual Z Drives:
Example for 2 motors
Is there any particular place in the config.g and bed.g files I need to add the additional G-code from the 2 Motors example? I will be changing E1 to E0 and using E1 for my hotend. I originally had my hotend heater in the E0 connector but the feral pin snapped and got trapped in it and is blocking me from inserting a new one so I am abandoning that terminal and moving to E1.BTT Smart Filament Runout sensor:
I was able to get to the G code command for the sensor and am still a little confused. Here is the example: M591 D0 P3 C3 S1 R70:130 L24.8 E3.0 and I believe mine would look like this: M591 D1 P7 C* S1 E7.0 as R and L are optional. My question is should * be e1stop?Thank you for your time and patience.

@Stephen6309 I have had a few issues with my Ender 3 using the BL Touch for Z homing and ABL and was hoping to avoid similar issues but I will use the advice you and @Veti provided and attempt it with just the BL Touch first and see how that works. Thank you for the response.

@Veti The silver part of a ferrule where the wire is crimped. It somehow got trapped inside the terminal with the screw no longer working and caused the wire and the pin to break free and stay lodged into the terminal.
