      I have a 1.04 board and have managed to short Fan0.
      I'm swapping from 24v to 12v and think I bridged the two fan pins with the fan negative wire.

      I now have a 12v buck powering the fan and its refusing to start with fan neg connected the the pin in the image below

      M950 F0 C"fan0" Q100                           	; create fan 0 on pin fan0 and set its frequency
M106 P0 S0 H-1 X204                             ; set fan 0 value. Thermostatic control is turned off

      I can see there is a 1a blade fuse for the fans, but this isn't blown, and assume it protects the 24v +?

        Check the fan mosfets for signs of damage.
