Uploaded 3.2.2 too soon
-
I inadvertently uploaded 3.2.2 firmware before updating config g. after 2.05 to 3.0
update. Ball screw motor not to responding to triggered Endstop.
Board: Duet 2 WiFi (2WiFi)
Firmware: RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet 3.2.2 (2021-02-11)
Duet WiFi Server Version: 1.25 -
Is there a question? Do you have a config file set for RRF3.x yet?

Ok do you have a motor connected to X driver and an endstop connected to the Xstop input.
If the endstop is connected correctly you should be able to see the LED on the board change when you click the endstop.
Also you should be able to send M119 to see the status of the endstops. What does it tell you when the endstop is clicked? What does it tell you when it's not clicked?
If M119 tells you that it's triggered when it's clicked you should be able to test it by sending
G1 H1 X200 F600
in the console. This will move the X motor until you click the endstop.See here about connecting endstop switches.

Not triggered
Triggered
Seems I have a wiring issue, Huh?
No movement w/G1 H1 X200 F600 in the Console.
Everything seems to work fine from dashboard, except
endstop and Error message below.
Warning: motor phase A may be disconnected reported by driver(s) 0 1
Warning: motor phase B may be disconnected reported by driver(s) 1
I'll revisit (X-drive) termination @board. Error follows termination point. -
Yes I'd say you have a wiring problem.
Check your phases using this technique and try again.
maybe bad crimp or broken wires?

Thanks. I'm on it!!! Question: What bearing will non-upgrade of config.g
after 2.05 to 3.0 RRF have. Can those file changes be done in 3.2.2 RRF? -
If you don't have a config file ready for RRF3 nothing terrible will happen, you just won't have any functionality since the endstop and heater syntax is completely different.
