Short-to-ground on driver

Short-to-ground on driver
Hello, good morning, I have acquired a Duet 3, I have configured it and when I have to activate driver 0 (Extruder) I get the message Short-to-ground on driver.
But if I connect the cable in dirver 5, which is the one that was free, I don't get the Short-to-ground on driver fault. I think it is the driver that is defective, what do you think?

Yes, but if I only change the connector from drive 0 to drive 5, it is not a problem with the configuration, engine wiring. I have tried it with the current wiring and a new one and I keep getting the same fault !!

If the motor works well on another driver, but does not work on that driver that indicates the motor is ok.
Can you share your config.g and the results of M122?
When and where did you purchase the Duet 3?

@stcabrera, you say you connected the extruder to driver 5 .... did you also reconfigure config.g to allow the Duet to talk to driver 5 instead of driver 0?
If you did not reconfigure then the Duet is still talking to driver 0 and the test of plugging into driver 5 does not tell you anything.
Connect the extruder to one of the drives currently configured and see if the problem then shows up on the new driver.
CAUTION: I do not know what will happen if you have a shorted cable and you plug it into another driver channel ... it may just report the error but there is a possibility that the second driver gets killed! I take no responsibility for this advise!You could also plug one of the currently working drives into driver 0. Probably less risky.
Note that anything that homes will probably break for this test so be ready on the emergency switch or the power button.
