      My 5 month old Smart IR probe seems to be malfunctioning.
      When I switch on the printer it first give one flash then after a while 4 flashes
      In Duet2, readings are always 0, regardles what I do.
      When I looked on the IR-LEDs with my phone-camera I can only see one LED on, the other one seems to be off.
      Any suggestions on how to proceed, I would imagine that it is faulty, since there is not muych one can do.

        Can you post a photo of the board?
        How is it wired?
        Firmware version?
        Config.g?
        What happens when you try to use it?

          Absolutly nothing happens, the red led is suppoosed to light up when it is triggered, that does not happen.

          Neither firmware nor config.g should affect the board and its operation.
          ANd as I wrote earlier, it seems that one of the IR-LEDs is not working.
          Obviously the board needs to be replaced, but it sems that I shoulkd post here first, in order to get the warranty.

            Still waiting for an answer from Duet-people, so I can have the probe replaced.

              The reason for the photo is to try and spot a failed component or damage to aid in the trouble shooting.

              When and where was it purchased?

                Ok, well, it was purchased from RepRapMe here in Sweden, but they cannot do anything until I get an RMA from DUET.

                Ill see if I can sort out a photo
