Hi i faces a bug on my slicer and it made me discover a bug on with the M302 command.
i have 3 toolheads and i wnated to print with T2
unfortunately the slicer put T0 and so set temperature to T0 which raise even if tool T0 was not active (the command was M104 S215 T0 and M109 S215 T0)
what happened is that when tool 0 get correct temperature the gcode continue and i saw that my tool T2 was trying to extrude while it was cold.
but when i check the M302 status, cold extrusion is forbidden.

@psychotik2k3 i think this is somehow related to the other bug i discovered this weekend tool change don't wait on M16 because when the other bug happens the printer tries to do some cold extrusion.

@psychotik2k3 ok this is fixed by putting a G4 S1 before the M116 on the tpost1.g
thanks for @dc42 for his big help on this one.

@dc42 @Phaedrux i just checked with the 3.3 release now that my macro for the waiting temps work.
but i had a bug and so i noticed taht if i don't take car the printer can do a cold extrusion even if M302 indicates it's forbidden

please note that all my tools heaters are puggled on a H3C expansion board, while the XYZ cooling part bed and zprobes are plugged on the MB6HC

@psychotik2k3 said in [3.3RC3] cold extrusion is bypassed by another tool temp:

I think the issue is that cold extrusion prevention does not work when the extruder motor is on a CAN-connected expansion board. I'll make a note to fix this in RRF 3.4.

@dc42 also i found another bug with the help of a bad connection on heating cartridge:
i had a heater that got one wire disconnected, so i had teh gcode changing to the tool, waiting for it to heat thanks to the M116

and after maybe 30 seconds or one minute i saw the temp indicator turning purple (because it detects an error on the heating) but this didn't stopped the job, it just bypassed the M116 and so the tool change continue trying after that to performs cold extrusion.

and im' in stand alone mode.
