[0_1629699926268_config.g](Uploading 100%) I have completed assembling my E3D Tool Changer. The initial wiring was correct and all came alive at power on. Unfortunately, I frequently experience network disconnects. To the point that I can’t select anything on the duet web page. It can vary from “resource not available” in the browser, or it keeps disconnecting never fully redrawing the page. I have replaced the network cables, tried three different switches, and connected to it with three different computers. The results are the same. The ip address is static and there is no conflict with the addressing on the network.
If I cycle the machine all is ok. This seems to be the only way to clear the issue. If there is a print running, cycling the machine isn’t the best choice.

Selecting Settings / Machine-Specific / Diagnostics button pops up a message “Response to long.” But it creates a report.

      Regards,

      M122

@trobison What are you using to connect to the duet with? Is it a Mac or PC? What AV software have you got on it if any?

        Voron 2.4 (Duet 3 6HC + 3HC standalone), Voron SW (Duet 3 mini 5+ standalone), Voron Trident (Duet 3 mini 5+ standalone), Voron 0.1

@pkos Running PC's but Av is not the issue. Cycling the printer corrects the issue. I have tried Firefox / Chrome / Edge all with the same results with multiply computers.

If you start a command prompt to ping the duet indefinitely see if it eventually has dropped packets.

                ping -t -4 192.168.10.60

Do the lights on the network port on the Duet go off when you're unable to connect?

Hi @phaedrux, When I lose connectivity, I can't ping the printer continuously. Many dropped packets. Cycling returns it to a working state most of the time. It is only a 100Mbps full duplex connection, but I have tried connecting to three different switches. An enterprise HP Switch, POE switch, and Netgear - all Gig switches. While in this funky state, I have tried with other PC's and have the same issue. I have a yellow led on the switch(s) no matter which port I try. I believe that is because it's a slow connection. The leds blink on the switch.

The SD card is the original, I haven't seen any CRC errors on file copies to and from the card. Results from a M122 suggest the card is ok. But it is something to check.
