PS - if you are into hardware, you could try measuring the voltages between each end of R52 and ground. They should both be at/close to 0V for OUT9 to be off.

@dc42 Is it not worth downgrading the firmware to see if it works on any other versions?

@brendon i just replicated the same setup with a 6HC and it works fine with 3.4b5 so i think its likely that the hardware is faulty. the quickest way to check is erase it using the jumper on the board and see if it still turns on.

@brendon what I actually meant was, when the board was erased and before you reinstalled the firmware, did OUT9 still turn on when you powered up or reset the board? If it did then that indicates a hardware issue.

@dc42 Sorry for the brevity in my previous response. Yes, out9 is still turned on and enabled after the board was erased but before the firmware was flashed.

The new board arrived and the Out channels are now properly controlling the LED strips. Thank you for helping me sort out my issue. The offending hardware is boxed up and will be arriving to you shortly. Thanks again!!!
