I am trying to get my Duet2 wifi to control an idex printer and realized I am one stepper driver short with the mainboard.
I ordered the Duex5 expansion but I am not sure if that is the correct approach to simply adding another output (I did search but was a bit confused by the info I was reading on the Duex5, so my apologies for the dumb question.)
Can anyone point me the right direction as far as documentation or a guide to making a Duet2 (wifi) control an idex printer? Need a total of 6 stepper drivers to make it work as intended.

      Thanks!

@abitsean see https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/Machine_configuration/Configuration_IDEX for how to configure it.

Adding a DueX5 board to your Duet WiFi is the easiest approach to getting another stepper driver, although not the cheapest.

For anyone looking to build an IDEX machine now, the Duet 3 Mini + 2-driver expansion board (total 7 stepper drivers) or Duet 3 MB6HC (6 stepper drivers) would be more economical than Duet 2 + DueX5.
