Help with Duet 3 6HC, Pi 4 and SSH

I used the DuetPI image: 2022-03-18-DuetPi
I put the SSH file and wpa_supplicant.conf files in boot of the SD card. I found the pi's ip and the duet gui works. When I try to use putty (ssh) I get Network error: Software caused connection abort.
When I check SD card looks like SSH file is gone. However I still can't SSH into pi. Ideas?

@rmilyard I haven't tried the SSH file in a while in favour of the advanced settings of the Raspberry Pi Imager but I'd expect it should still work. If you are on the stock DuetPi image, you can enable SSH using an M-code as well. You can send this using the console:
