50 way cable

I was looking on amazon and other resellers for a slightly longer cable to connect the duex 2 to the duet wifi. I came across a 50 pin scsi cable. Will that work correctly?

In principle yes, however 18" is too long. You can make your own cables up from the IDC connectors and ribbon cable if you have a vice, you just need to line the jaws with something soft.
