Just curious if there has been consideration for moving the network commands (especially the SSID, password, MAC address) out of config.g and into a new file, say network.g?

The thought being anyone posting their config.g wouldn't have to remember to blank the network information before posting.

This would be more a convenience than anything else.

AFAIK you are not supposed to add the SSID and password to config.g as it will be saved on the ESP once the Duet did successfully connect.

Ahh. I've been trying to do everything through the config tool, and I've left those settings in there. I seem to remember a fragment somewhere that said those could be deleted after initial set up.

I'll drop those from my config files going forward.
