On behalf of the Duet3D team I am pleased to announce the availability of software version 3.4.2-rc2. This bundle brings some more improvements and bug fixes since the previous build. Users in standalone mode can get the latest firmware files from here and users in SBC mode should upgrade using the regular apt update/upgrade path.

When you upgrade, you may want to use @MintyTrebor's excellent ReleaseMgr plugin or read the full release notes for

      • RepRapFirmware
      • DuetWebControl
      • DuetSoftwareFramework

If no more issues arise, we will release this version as 3.4.2 stable next week. If you do encounter problems, please open up a new thread with [3.4.2-rc2] in the title.

If you are using SBC mode and would like to try out the latest 3.4.2-RC2 as well, check out this link for further instructions.

Getting this on the plugin you recommended. Should I submit an issue on the github repo for that plugin?

@ctilley79 I have just updated an sbc to 3.4.2 rc2 and did a clean install of ReleaseMgr, it worked fine.
The error is suggesting there is an issue with installing the plugin. If you look inside the zip file you should find it contains the file that is declared "missing" (if not download the zip again & re-install)

I suggest you uninstall the plugin - reboot/restart sbc - reload DWC and try and re-install.

If there are issues with your system installing/running plugins, then @chrishamm may be able to help.

NodeDSF - Native Node-Red integration with Duet boards.
BtnCmd - Customise DWC with user defined buttons/layouts/panels (DWC Plugin)
ReleaseMgr - Duet update info inside DWC.

@mintytrebor It’s an issue with Safari on Mac. I can navigate to the file just fine, however I get that error on Safari. Chrome and Firefox work fine.

There seems to be an issue with running M122 on Duet2 stand alone
              See here for details

@owend I confirm this issue with 3.4.2rc2 for Duet 2 only. I have put new 3.4.2rc2+ firmware builds for Duet 2 at https://www.dropbox.com/sh/7tf55ax00ky1pyx/AAA_eVJE20oYUON_gjKhCHsja?dl=0.

@dc42 No issues between 3.4.1 and 3.4.2-rc2 were found on our machines. Thanks!
