      Hi
I am using my own custom 3d printer and i don't use any probe. So i face a problem as regard the first layer.
My heat bed is stable without springs , i use spacers. The only way to make my printer works is the mesh bed compensation.
So i would like to ask if there is any way to build with manual measurement a heightmap.csv.
As i know the heightmap is a csv file easy to edit in excel but i can not find the format or any ready heightmap to download and edit.
      Can anyone help me?

If you use recent firmware, you can do manual bed probing. Set the Z probe type (P parameter in the M558 command) to zero, use M557 to define the grid as usual, and send G29 from Duet Web Control. At each point it will prompt you to jog the head down until it just touches the bed and then press the OK button.
