I'm trying to sort out my bed leveling on my DC42 style Kossel, and after spending many hours trying to lap out a cupped aluminum build plate I still have this curious ridge in what I believe is the last two probe points.

When running auto calibration I get results like this:
      G32
Calibrated 6 factors using 13 points, deviation before 0.733 after 0.038

Currently, have an 8mm aluminum plate with 4mm of glass on top. Although this happens with and without the glass or with different glass.

There's no noticeable ridge that I can see whilst putting a steel rule over the plate and I suspect its throwing off getting that good first layer on larger prints.

Any thoughts? Or should I be looking for a new aluminum plate.

      BTW - Duet Ethernet - running 1.19 (2017-08-14)

It looks like your smart effector triggered early at two points near minimum X. Does it always do that? If so, Check that the hot end fan or any other part of the effector assembly isn't colliding with bed clips, belts or anything else at that position. Also make sure that you have the recommended R0.4 parameter in your M558 command.

Your spot on as usual, by removing the bed clip on that side the error goes away, although I couldn't see it actually touch it when running.

So next question, does this bed look flat enough for 330mm dia delta or should I look for something better?

That's not bad, but not quite as good as I and many other uses achieve on a 300mm print area. What is the bed made of? Are the points with the highest deviation at the edge of the print area, or not?

Its 8mm aluminum plate with glass on top. The aluminum plate appears to be cupped so its lower in the middle.
