Switching 5V with bed MOSFET when board at 24V

I have a Duet 2 WiFi which is running at 24V for the steppers, but which I want to switch about 9A of 5V to some LED strips.

Looking at the schematic, it seems to me that if I pull the bed fuse I could use the bed connection to do this without using aything external, since the 'bed-' terminal will then be the drain of the bed mosfet and isolated from the rest of the board. (But if I don't pull the fuse, the terminal will come up to near 24V through the LED).

Have I missed anything, or should it be OK to use the bed mosfet in this way?
