    Hello all,

my name is Julius and I need a little help with my 3D printer.
First of all, to give a bit of background on the situation:
I got myself a 3D printer, which according to the previous owner is supposed to be built like a Zero G Mercury one. At least based on it.
Unfortunately, I have the problem that the SD card that was in the Rasperry Pi is no longer accessible. The Rasperry does not start and it is not recognised in the laptop either.
Unfortunately, the previous owner can't help me because he bought the printer second-hand himself and didn't know much about the software.

    The setup looks like this:
Rasperry Pi 3 is connected to the Duet 2 Wifi via USB. (This is the connection that somehow doesn't work). A webcam, a monitor and a relay are also connected to the Rasperry, which can then switch on the power supply for the printer and the LEDs (but I have bypassed this for the time being for testing).

Unfortunately, I don't know which software and plug-ins I need to get the whole thing running.
There is no MicroSD card in the Duet, so I assume that it is in SBC mode.

I have already tried a bit, but I don't know exactly what I have to do or what software I need.

I currently have the "image_2023-09-06-DuetPi" software installed on the Rasperry.
    I followed the instructions: https://docs.duet3d.com/User_manual/Machine_configuration/SBC_setup

I know this is the manual for the Duet 3, but somewhere I was referred to it.
I have read that the Duet 2 only works with a hardware mod that allows you to control the board via the wifi interface. However, it seems to have worked via USB before, so I guess there's a solution there too.

The relay is probably solved like this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2803126

My Duet 2 Wifi board says: pcb revision:1.04c

Maybe someone here can help me to get the setup working, I would be very grateful 🙂
Alternatively, I think it would be a good idea to reset the Duet 2 and reinstall the operating system there (is it as simple as that, or is there something to consider?).

If you need further information, I will do my best to provide it.

Kind regards and many thanks in advance
    Julius

@JuliusH if there’s no SD card in the Duet, more likely it was running Klipper. It won’t be running in SBC mode just connected by USB, it doesn’t work that way. I’m not sure if you can check by connecting a computer to the Duet and checking with a serial console, but you could try. The problem is that you’ll have to start again with configuration if you use either Klipper or run it just with the Duet and RRF (use the Pi for something else). We can support you with the latter here, but not with Klipper.
