I accidentally reversed the vcc and ground of the z probe at my smart effector plug. My duet 2 is still sending 3.5v as it should, but my zprobe led no longer lights up. Did I kill it?

Most likely - some devices are designed with protection from reverse power - most are not.

What kind of device do you have?

While I have heard of that device I don't know if it is protected or not.
