Raise3D Endstop & LED voltage?
-
Evening all. Don't suppose anyone knows voltage for the Raise3D optical endstop and LEDs?
-
@DocTrucker what processor did the original controller board use? If it's an Atmega then the endstops will be 5V.
-
@dc42 same processor - or at least class - as the Duet 3 main board I believe.
-
@DocTrucker if they are generic optical endstops then most likely they are designed for 5V, but may work with 3.3V. If they are made by Raise3D then they could be designed for 3.3V. If the endstop comprises just a slotted or reflective opto switch and two resistors, then the only difference between 5V and 3.3V versions is usually just the value of the series resistor for the IR LED.

Cheers. I'll get a picture next time I'm in the office. But will wire it with a 3.3V feed to begin with and see how it performs.

Just confirming endstops work fine on 3.3V. I've wired the fans to a 12V fan socket. All working so far...
