Third motion system for asynchronous movement

Greetings to everyone.
I have built a custom cartesian machine (first motion system, with three X,Y,Z axis) and a filament feeder system (second motion system). Not using any extruder, instead a printheadstate controlled by two independent macros is used in cojunction with a filament feeder system that has been defined as a global variable to monitor printheadstate continuously by a daemon.g file.
Trying to expand the machine capabilities by installing a second feeder system, which as the first feeder has to work in cordination but asynchronouly with the printheadstate. So a third motion system can be utilized to my little experience.
Duet currently supports two motion system.
So exploring options on how to acheive this expansion?
One way that i could think forward is using an Brushless DC motor (BLDC) that could be configured as GPIO and the filament feedrate controlled by an Electronic speed controller (ESC).
Any insights on this request would be highly appreciable plz...........
