When it comes to deleting files, is there any difference between M472 and M30? Which one should be used preferably (maybe M472 because M30 will be removed in the long term)?

@NeoDue the reason for introducing M472 was to provide a means to remove a directory and also to support recursive delete of a directory and everything it contains. The M30 command doesn't use a parameter letter to introduce the filename, so it wasn't possible to add any parameters to it.

@dc42 I see, and M30 as it is is probably originating from Marlin, right? Then i I guess they will stay both and it is up to the user to use them. Thank you!
