I recently got a FSR and was wondering if I could mount it to the hotend like this printer does: (about 25 second in) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1hWOxVixxw

I've got the Duet 0.8.5 with a v1 breakout board on the effector.

      Thanks!
      Bill

You can, there are designs but I came up with the piezo hotend sensor as they did not seem very good. The difference is Fsrs are less sensitive and you really need one with a hole in the middie to place it in the long axis of the hotend, to improve the sensitivity and signal to noise ratio.

A lot of the designs out there will result in a wobbly nozzle as fsrs can't be preloaded to hold the hotend firmly.

          hello

I was playing with similar idea and have found that for FSR to be consistent you really have to slow down the speed.
