Is it possible to connect a NPN inductive proximity sensor to the Z-probe connector on the board using a Schottky diode - similar to how they are connected to an endstop connector?

If so, what type of Z-probe should be declared in M558?

I'm having real trouble getting the IR probe to work with my black PrintBite and have an inductive sensor in my spares box so I could use that if it will work on the same input.

      Thanks

      Richard
