      It would be nice to have the ability to run through the gcode without turning on the heaters and attempting to actually extrude. My Arrow500 CNC machine has this feature (Acramatic 2100 controller) and it is very useful during setup.

        You can do that in recent versions of DWC (can't remember exact when this changed, some time ago). Right click on the file name and select edit. It flags up if its a big file and will take a bit of time for DWC top load it (it has to get the file from the Duet and load in locally in the browser)

          Thanks. I tried to delete this post but couldn't figure out how so I recycled it instead - apparently just a few minutes before you replied so I guess it hadn't propagated yet.

            Ahh yes, somehow I answered an earlier question.

            To answer the new question - Its simulate in the same menu as edit.
