    Can't get connected

      New user; relatively experienced computer user.

      Duet Ethernet connected to a desktop computer using USB (no ethernet yet). Firmware version is 1.18. But, before I upgraded, I thought I should be able to see the Duet board.

      It fails at Step 8 which says "After about 30 seconds," the reply "ok" comes back right away. DUETTEST.LOCAL fails (times out). Yesterday, I got an IP and that timed out also.

      YAT says serial port COM3 (9600, 8,1, None) is open and connected.

      Can anyone help me?

        Oops, looks like I needed to connect to ethernet first. This was not included in the instructions.
