I updated to 1.21 and now my extruder motor and x motor are some how swapped. I completely erased the board and started fresh, went back down to 1.19 and it is still doing it. Just note I know some of the config is off because of start fresh. I am just trying to figure out what is up.

Which motor driver connectors do you have the stepper motor cables plugged in to? As you don't have a M584 command in config.g to change the mapping, it sounds to me that you have the X motor plugged into the E0 driver output, and vice versa.
