      Hi,

My Kossel XL does ring a bit downstream of sharp corners and reducing the acceleration from 3000 to 1000 improves that but at the expense of making the corners "fat". It would be nice to stop the rounding at the corners, is that what pressure advance is for? If so, what's a good config to start with?

      Thanks.

It can help tame bulging corners.

          Thanks for the link.

The Kossel XL has a flex3drive extruder which is like a direct drive but it's a bit slower due to the high gear ratio. I am currently using acceleration and jerk of 400 and 10 respectively and (fat corners aside), the extruder appears to be working well. Not sure where to start with the pressure advance.

In your car I would start with a value of 0.05 and go from there. Increase or decrease by 0.01 and see how it changes.

Try printing a 30mm hollow cube and increase pressure advance from 0 in steps of 0.05 every 5mm of height, up to 0.25.

I'll give that a go, thanks.
