Is there a simplistic version of the Duet boards? I keep hearing good things about the Wifi-model but even the Wifi i dont really need, nor many of the other features...

Is there a cheaper entry-level model aviable or any that you would recommend?

I have MKS Sbase at the moment and its (built in) motor-controllers are dying for no reason. I have a biiiig pile of MKS 8bit boards so no MKS products for me, ever.

In final testing at the moment I think.

M3D is manufacturing them and handling the pre-orders. See https://fitforlaunch.com/projects/duet-2-maestro.

Thanks for the link, I'd not followed the other topics on the board that closely. I see why you tested it on your Ormerod. Good fit for that!

Perhaps add a redirect on the Duet3D shop to that page unless there are commercial reasons for not doing so?
