I'm looking for a pin to use for a relay output triggered by gcode script. purpose, to signal me that print is complete. I'm using alexa app smart home as my receiver and method of notice delivery to myself via internet base/android pc alert. I just need a 3.3v or 5v pin to change state when end gcode script is run. high or low doesn't matter. Not sure what the command should be either.

What if you added an endstop which could trigger along with one of the axis when you home XY at the end of a print?

how would i home after print with physical print still attached to bed? Maybe you are referring to a z pos end stop trigger?

still not sure what output pin for trigger to use. are there any general outputs for accessories with or without pwm? say you want to use board to trigger a light over the bed via a 5v relay module. what are the go to pins for simple logic out?

It's quite normal to home the printer in x and y after a print just not home z.

Put an M42 in your slicer start, and end, script.
