i recently switched to the smart effector for my printer, but now it seems as though i am not getting any reading from my thermistor. value is 2238.2c regardless of if it is or isnt plugged in. it is wired as follows.

the two black wires are going back to E0 and were working fine with the stock thermistor so i think from there back i think it is fine.
currently in my config file i have this for the heating from what i have seen this should be correct so either i have something wired wrong or the thermistor is bad.

      any help is much appreciated.

You need to shift those two black wires one position left in the 8-pin connector, i.e. use the middle 2 pins of the 4 that are assigned to temperature sensors.

Ok thank you 🙂 I guess that is just a little confusing from looking at the wiring diagram, but I guess it just depends on how you interpret that they are paired. 0_1532564513167_D79A2D5B-B444-432D-AD78-4D26F53AC875.png
