      Hi
Why do I always have to home all my axis after a print finishes. Is this by design or due to my M84 in my End G-Code? Or is this behaviour specified in a system g-file?

AFAIK M84 (Stop Idle Hold) will release the motors and invalidate the homing for the given axis (or all axes if none specified).

Probably the easiest fix is to remove your M84. RepRepFirmware will use 30% of the max current to maintain position when the axes are not moving. You can alter this percentage in config.g if required with M906
