A couple of DWC odd things
-
Hi,
Current firmware info for my machine:
I've noticed a couple of funny things happening in DWC that I do not understand.
While printing this appeared:
It has happened more than once and sometimes there are several layers reported past the "max".
..
..When issuing a G30 S-1 command on a machine when no Z-probe, after adjusting the Z position using the jog buttons I get this (the M292 line):
Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

The first issue sounds like a problem with the firmware extracting the object height and/or layer height from the GCode file. Sadly there is no standard way for slicers to provide this information.
The issue with G30 S-1 looks to me like a firmware bug. I will try to reproduce it. Had you already homed the Z axis when it happened?

I understand about layer number issue - just wanted to be sure it wasn't something important that I needed to fix.
As to the GS30 S-1 issue I'm almost positive that I had homed the machine BUT I will do it again just to make sure.
I cannot do it right now as the machine is busy printing.
Thanks.
