USB port not working
-
Hi,
I have two issues with my Duet3D.
Issue 1- doesn't connect via USB.
I tried several cables, I can use other USB devices on the, same USB ports, I even tried a different Laptop. Still USB doesn't connect.Issue 2 - Wifi times out. Changed settings to 3 times timeout. Still the same problem.
I'm using version 1.19

What Baud Rate are you using to connect via USB?
The needed baud rate is 115200.Not using the correct Baud will result in being unable to connect.
Once you are connected via USB, we can troubleshoot the Wifi issue you are having (since USB allows us to see what went wrong).
EDIT: on closer inspection is seems the Duet uses a native USB, so it should simply work without it, but setting the baud to 115200 on software like YAT and Terminal may be able to force a connection.

Which operating system does your PC use? If it's Windows, please check in Windows Device Manager for either a port listed under "Ports (COM & LPT)" or an "Unknown device". Also try a different USB port, because Windows has a habit of turning ports off sometimes.

Please explain that you mean by "Wifi times out". Can you connect Duet Web Control initially, but it times out after a while? If so, please see the wiki page about wifi disconnections, in particular the section about signal strength.
Where did you get your Duet from? Version 1.19 firmware is quite old, so I am surprised that anyone still has stocks of boards with that version installed.
